During the week of February 14, 2021, The Beach Boys sold a controlling interest in their intellectual property to Iconic Artists Group, including sound recordings, select musical works, and their brand and memorabilia. The deal does not include much of the band's 1960s catalog which is owned by Universal Music Group.
